PĀRONGO:
Established in June 1993 Te Puna Mātauranga is a specialised total immersion Reo Māori unit (Rūmaki) that delivers curriculum education through the medium of Te Reo Rangatira, me ona Tikanga. Founded on aspirations, values and ethics from kaumātua and pakeke of Pirirakau, TPM blends a traditional Maori view of teaching and learning, with modern day principles and practices and caters to students year 0 to year 8. Over the years, the dedicated effort of parents and whānau has seen TPM grow and flourish into what it is today and whanau continues to be an integral part of the ongoing success of the unit.
