	Te Puna Matauranga is our Maori Immersion team. This team consists of 3 classes whose curriculum delivery and instruction is in Te Reo Maori. Curriculum delivery is based on Te Marautanga o Aotearoa (NZ Maori Curriculum) a parallel version to the mainstream curriculum. Learning programmes are delivered with a strong emphasis on "Pirirakautanga" -our local people and place. Te Puna Matauranga is supported by a strong whanau group. Some pre entry requirements are needed prior to enrolment in Te Puna Matauranga.
