This term Year 4-8 children are learning about different land forms around them.  The Year 7 and 8 children visited the Mount, climbed Mauao and discussed the different land forms from the top.  Year 4, 5 and 6 children are learning about volcanoes in the classroom.

In Technology we will be extending on their learning by creating land form moulds using a variety of materials and using plaster paris to test our moulds.  The dry plaster then gets cut in half, painted and the different layers of earth are shown on the cut side, showing a cross section of the earths layers.
